Photoshop expert help wanted [Edited for nitwit mistake!]

I'm asking a favour from any Photoshop experts out there.

As I've posted previously, my car is in the bodyshop. The work is going to involve having the engine out, back axles & gearbox off, interior out etc. I have been given the option of a change of colour.

I am generally holding with staying with Sapphire at the moment but really like Horizon Blue Metallic and Cobalt Blue Metallic. If anyone is willing to spend the time to show me how the front end of the Lux would look in these colours I would be very grateful.

Picture (not mine clearly) below. Haven't got any good photos of the front of mine.

Thanks. Good looking car. I really like the cobalt blue and am seriously considering that as a new colour for mine. I've seen a few Lux cars in colours which just don't seem to suit (IMHO) whereas they look fine on the S2/Turbo front end. For example I recon yellow looks good on the S2/Turbo or 968 but when I've seen it on a Lux it looked wrong. I'm sure most people would recon you either like the colour or you don't and it makes no odds what series car it's on. Ideally I'd love to see what mine should look like in Cobalt with the Lux front end but thanks alot for helping me out. I guess it's a bit cheeky to ask someone to photoshop a picture for me....... ah.....I also now see that I wrote 'Paintshop' in my initial post.[:)][&:] Fool.

You’re actually much better off looking for pictures of other cars already in the colours you’re considering. Much less effort and much more accurate! Petrolhead944 has helped out brilliantly, now you just need to find a ’44 in Horizon Blue to compare!

I hope I haven't given the impression that I didn't appreciate the help, cos I did. I've looked for ages for a picture of a Lux front end in Cobalt - just can't find one. Not sure the colour was available when the Lux was being produced..... The search continues.

I agree that the colour palette is much more limited for early bumpered cars, some modern ones really dont suit it. The first Lux I viewed was in Cobalt Blue (non-original respray) and it looked great, so I think it's one you can get away with. I'm sure Horizon Blue would look good too, but it's a bit too close to a silver for me personally (I love maritime instead but don't think that would work so well). The Sapphire your car currently has in very nice and unusual too, so for that reason I think I'd be tempted to stick with it, but a change can be good too! [:D]

...decisions, decisons. Good to hear that someone has seen a Lux in Cobalt and liked it. Good enough for me. I've had a Sapphire car for 6 years now and I agree it looks good... might regret not taking the opportunity to have a 'new' car out of this though - it's going to cost me as much! The car has been at the bodyshop for 6 weeks now and last time I visited it hadn't been started! Think I'm going to have plenty of time to decide. I'll probably end up changing my mind up until the last moment.

Think I just might. Finally got myself an original bridge spoiler too. Can replace the awful replica one currently on the car now. Can't wait to have her back.[:)]

Sounds normal to me... I've still got time to change my colour and I bought the paint about 9 months ago! [:)]
