Hi, I am about to get the tyres removed from these wheels which will be for track use. I want to paint them but cannot decide what colour.
I like white wheels but think they work better on dark blue / black or red cars.
I dont really like black wheels as to me seem to dissapear.
Quite like the blue as cup2s on 968s but I got stick for going with blue not red scottish tour stickers [;)]
PS my car is filthy!

I would go for red wheels and change the stickers to red to match,I think they would stand out and also complement each other[8D]

Oh and before the creator of said products spots the post, they are high quality precision cut vinyl decals not stickers [],

this might not help, but I quite like them as they are [:D]

are they silver & dirty, or a darker shade & clean?

So the answer is....pretty much any colour but what they are now [;)]

"Little Man" who knows about such things, becuse he spends half of his life on "Need For Speed Underground II", favours the orange or black chrome.

BTW, I did red but they looked so bad I didn't even save the conversion.

Hi Tony,
I'm no good with photoshop, but if it were mine I think I'd go for black but I do understand your reservation. What about doing it and leaving the rim in silver or body colour, maybe even a with a thin red coach line between the two?

Other than that I'd go for body colour, a dark metallic blue or (you said you wanted loud) what about burnt orange [:D]

I was planning on going the blue wheel route when I got a spare set for slicks, but Jon's comments have put me off that idea for a bit [&o]

<edited to add: Great job John, hadn't seen pics before posting. I really like the black and the orange ones, plus white looks a lot better than I expected too)>

Black makes the car look meaner and oddly also makes it look lower to me [&:]

My favourite is orange though, suits the Titanium body perfectly and will look awesome when dirtied up a bit with brake dust

Thats quite impressive John...It must have took ages painting all those different colours![:D][:D]I think the red or the black as they make the car look mean for racing.

Thankyou very much John, having said I didn't want black, I like how those wheels in black :) also white looks better than I thought and orange is good - was secretly thinking orange before but didnt want to sway the options, will print them off and decide in a few days

Orange rims with black decals

For track use you want to stand out from the crowd so I 'd go with orange. I was really surprised how good they look on the Footemobile (and littleun would love them [:D]). It is the trendy track colour of the moment with black and orange GT3RS's.

I did come across acid green while I was playing, and that looked pretty cool but had overtones of the MG Power colour scheme which wasn't good. I like the orange as it has subliminal links to Gulf and Porsche racing heritage.

You wouldn't be able to make "discrete progress" with orange wheels so I think they would be too much for the road.

I'm still trying to decide what to do with Beakys 17". They really need sorting before I put on the Big Blacks; while I can still swap to my, soon to become redundant, 16" wheels. Damn! what was supposed to have been a modest upgrade it's turning into a veritable money pit.

I rather favour black chrome for Beaky.
