Pick Boxster up in two weeks

Well pips,

As mentioned I test drove another Boxster S on Saturday, absolutly loved it. Managed to get the top down, quite surprised that they aren't louder? But a great drive, very solid, gears were so smooth.

Did some haggling, got a great p/x deal and a bit off the Porsche.

Due to it being a pre-facelift he's also doing all the lights for £500, which I thought was ok.

Anyway, pick it up 1st May. My membership cheque will be in the post shortly[:D]

Thanks Dawn, I hope I'm happy with it as well.

Look forward to some good drive over the moors and into the Lake District this summer.

Well done Gary,

sorry i replied so late to your post about Saturday, glad you loved it and that it the right car.

if you need a lift on Sunday the 1st from the airport then i'd be very glad to help out.

sorry about that reply Simon,

was about 3am when i wrote that reply on nightshift so must have got threads confused,at least it was only on here and not on the plane i was working on!!!!

Well happy right now. Called the dealer yesterday about getting the car taxed, told me I could pick it up on Saturday.

It's been fully serviced, with belt change. New pads all round, new tyres all round (Checked these after the drive and three of them were fine[:D]). Zymol'd up and ready to go.

And he's sorted the new lights.

Can't give enough praise to the dealer (Specialist Cars of Malton). I just wish he'd knock £100k of the price of the 993 GT2 he's got sat in there[X(]

My Porsche experience begins in two days, Mucho Joy.[:D]
