Sorry for the rubbish picture, but not too bad from an iphone.
Tommorow we are at silverstone for the Porsche driving experience, courtesy of the dealership which was a nice suprise - and I will post some better photos once its been washed!
Its a pure and simple C2 gen2 PDK, with a nice range of extras and a very far cry from my 996 which i missing! And so far the dealership has been excellent!

Jon,

Looks very nice, I have the exact same photo of both of my new 997's in that very same place, I assume it is the OPC in Solihull then!!

Glad you also got the fine wines, as I did with my last Gen 2, enjoy them, they did not last long in our house!!

Have lots of fun with your new car, and if you are local hope to see you around too!!

Cheers,

Nige.

Nice one Jon... and a very nice day to collect aswell [:D]

I thought I recognised the location, I think Nigel reminded me of where it was...

Mine was also parked in exactly the same spot on my birthday last November. What an idiot because I didn't take my camera!!! anyway i drove the short distance home where my wife had secretly packed up her car with clothes for a surprise birthday present of a weekend at Le Manoir! So I didn't get to use it at all for 2 days!! Hotel was fantastic though..........
Am off to Silverstone for the experience myself in September so please let us know how you get on.

Jon,
I collected mine last Saturday from the same OPC. Exactly the same colour and wheels as mine, I even took the same photo. You sure you got the right car[:D]
Only done 50 miles in mine so far due to work, but looking forward to the weekend.
I might have to buy Lancerlot a glass of lemonade as i got a Full tank of Fuel, Wine set, Key pouch, and discount on Gap i doubt i would of got all of this without asking.
Will post pics of mine this weekend(honest)

I'm not sure Lancerlot would be impressed with Lemonade.. he's a bit of a Remy man :ROFLMAO:

Well doesnt look like it will be washed this morning !

Spent thursday at Silverstone on the porsche driving circuits, and was stunned, whole place, whole event, very nice thought of the dealers and even better when another place came up for my wife as well, tuition was great and I cant believe just how well my car will handle when the ground gets as bad as that - if you havent been - try it! im sure there has been lots posted on here, but it was great!

Paul, which car did you pick up, mine didnt arrive until a day or so before last friday @ Solihull (C2 PDK), which have you gone for?

we got an equally nice deal and the negotiator was very happy with the deal struck, similar to above - but no key pouch! I feel let down now, what is the key pouch by the way?

And yes, will need to come to some of the 997 outings and meets now, didnt do a very good job of that with the 996, will try harder with this one, im only up the road from you anyway Gary (tamworth ish)

all the best
Jon
