picnic at the locks 7/8/05

Sunday 7th August meet at Cornbury House 10.30am then a short drive to Hatton Locks for a (bring your own)picnic

all welcome to join in. there is no cost appart from your pertrol,time and your food/drink so come along and meet some like minded friends.[8D]

Cornbury House opens at 11am NOT 10:30. Give the volunteers a bit of a chance to prepare for the huge influx of happy campers.
 
Ah, but if we all meet beforehand at 10.30 this will allow for introductions, socialising, chats and ogling at each others' cars [if not each other].

In any event, getting anywhere on time on a Sunday morning is always fraught with danger.

not according to my copy of Porsche Post. which says and i quote 10.30am-3pm

It takes about an hour for the tea urn to get really hot. however you can be in charge of the kettle.
 
Pleased to say that the 'urn' was hot enough for a nice cup of coffee..

seemed to be nice and hot...thanks to all the volenteers for all their hard work.

i managed to spend ££ in club shop. some nice new stuff in stock [8D]
