Thanks chaps - was wondering if a twin-exit exhaust would be possible, one exit at each side of the rear? Looks a bit tight!?
why do they make one for a 4x pot ? [

If it's good enough for a Lexus then why not have a fake one on the other side? [
It's not my cup of tea to be honest as it adds weight and no performance, although I think the turbo rear valance could look quite nice if made in three sections (and be even more fun to clean!).
I have my own eccentric idea though, I have been considering a side exit exhaust at some point in the future. This combined with removal of the spare wheel well should allow experimentation with crude ground effects. Not sure how easy it'll be to get enough silencing under there for it to remain track legal, but could be a fun project.

Ha - you read my mind! I think the rear end would look awesome with a 3-section valance and twin exits. You're right though, it would be purely aesthetic (us 'failed' car designers have different priorities). Don't think I couold bring myself to put a fake pipe in, but could I get one of the 2 pipes I have currently to exit on the other side? Would having unequal length tail pipes upset things? It's not my cup of tea to be honest as it adds weight and no performance, although I think the turbo rear valance could look quite nice if made in three sections (and be even more fun to clean!).

in a word yes.
I think Porsche would have produced a twin pipe exhaust system if it gained any significant power increase. They must have spent millions on exhaust tuning technology over the years I'm sure there are very good reasons why the exhaust is the size and length it is .
You'd have to split the pipe as twin exhausts look pretty stupid when you can see there is only working []

To be realistic i would think most cars that are 17 years old would look like this ! (if they have been used).
