Guys,

Sorry for the delay and the poor quality of my photos, I did not realsie that my flash gun for my Nikon needed new batteries, so the Photos are pretty Pi** poor I am afraid as the light was poor in the showroom at that time of night.

Please see a couple of photos of my new baby attached:-

I have to say that in the few miles I have done since collecting tonight, I am in love with this car already.

I hope you like it as much as I do.

Nige.

Beautiful my friend - the SD wheels do look great - I had them on my previous car; they take a bit of cleaning but are worth the effort!

Perfect weather for the targa - hope you got heated seats, steering wheel etc!!!

Hi Mex99,

Many thanks for the congrats, I hope to get more time this weekend to drive her and take some more photos for you all too.

I did get the heated seats and they are great in the cold weather, but I chose not to go for the heated steering wheel, it just felt too hot to me and made your hands go sweaty very quickly indeed!!

THE PDK is just great as is the PCM 3.0 too, not managed to discover all the functions yet though.

There is one thing I have noticed that I would like to change though.

Can you turn off the led on the locking indicator at all?

Nige.

Car looks great. Wheels arent that hard to clean from personal experience. Re the lock warning light - you could cover it with a bit of self adhesive vinyl from a sign supply company !!

Any particular reason why you want to do that? Isn't it a good thing to show that the car has an active alarm?

How do you like the 4-wheel-drive? Have you had one before? Does it feel better/safer in the wet?

Very nice Nigel... Bassalt Black looks great in the those photo's especially where the flash from the camera picks out the metallic flecks.

Do you have the sports seats?

Enjoy.
Mark

Looks super Nigel - good luck keeping it clean though, basalt is a pain. Washed the KN this morning, a trip out this pm and back where I started! But it does look soooo good in the sunshine.

Peter

Hi Spyderman,

Sorry if I did not make it clear, but the red led on the locking switch is very bright indeed, and come on when you drive away as the doors autolock.

The red led then catches the corner of your left eye all the time and is a real PITA.

I think I might have fixed it now though, as I was able to to turn off the auto lock feature in the options for individual memory in the PCM.

I will let you know if that has made it go away.

Nige.

Hi Mark,

Yes sorry I thought I had already listed my full options on my car.

I have the Sports Seats and also have them heated too.

They have already been used in full heat mode for the last two mornings!!

Nige.

Hi Peter,

Thanks for the info, and I already know about keeping Basalt Black clean, as my previous C4S Cab was the same colour.

On that car it had the Supa Guard treatment which seemed to work well, all I ever really needed to do was give it a quick hose over.

On my new Targa I have had the AutoGlym Lifeshine treatment, which is guaranteed for 10 years as well.

Also my OPC in Solihull said that if I wanted too I could just drop in for a coffee and biscuits and they would wash it for free for me when ever I wanted!!

Didn't tell them that I was planing on dropping by every two days on my way to dropping the car off to catch the train to London though!!

Nige.

Ah, with you now and I know exactly what you mean. Sounds like a good fix, though.
