Pirelli N3 and N4 mixed.

Hi,

As a result of changing rear tyres recently I now have Pirelli N3 on the front and N4 on the rear. Has anybody any opinion or experience of this causing handling issues ? I am convinced things seem a bit vague and just wondered if tyres might be the cause ?

I have different 'N' values of Michelin Pilot Sport front and rear, which is "approved" by Michelin. Have not noticed any handling issues. If anything its more stable due to better tread.

can i ask what sort of milage you are getting out of the rear pirelli's ? i had new continentals 3700mies ago and just had an advisory on rear tyres at the mot ! ouch.

Have you had the alignment checked recently? I used to get about 12,000 out of the rears on my C2 when I used Pirelli P-Zero Rossos.

18 thou from rear P-Zero Rosso's and that's with 6 trackdays per annum. It does help if you drive smooooothly.
