Pirelli Scorpion Verde All Season balance problems

Hi All,

In November 2024 I had a new set of 20" N rated Pirelli Scorpion Verde All Seasons put on my Macan for use in the UK, France and Germany. Over this period I've now had them rebalanced 4 times over a distance of about 2,000 miles both front and rear. At speeds of 130kph and above (legally in Germany) there remains significant vibrations which I didn't get when I had the P Zero summers on.

Has anyone else had similar experiences with these tyres and if so what was the resolution?

Thanks

Have you considered maybe it is a wheel rather than tyre out-of-true? Always a possibility with the preponderance of speed bumps, potholes, raised kerbs at alia around nowadays.

Regards,

Clive

Hi Clive,

Yes I have, it’s on my list of variables to eliminate. I do a lot driving in France and the plague of speed bumps is worse than in the U.K.

I’m starting with the tyres as that was when I first noticed the problem. I’ve now written to Pirelli to get their view on this. I didn’t have this problem with the summer rated P Zeros.

Best,
Tony
