Pissing about with Final Cut Pro..

My title seems to have been replaced with asterisks, it did relate to urinating but looks far ruder now!

First attempt at a video, thought I might as well use the Cayman:

Nice bit of fun, was wondering though why you would publish evidence of apparent wrongdoing in the public domain. Ending was well thought out!

>Evidence of apparent wrongdoing?< Speeding? It just seemed as though you were passing those 40 mph signs in excess of that speed? I'm guessing the white posts either side of the road are a set distance apart so it would be easy to calculate your speed. One of the features in Final Cut Pro though is the ability to speed up or slow down the action. I'm guessing from your query that you may have used this effect to "speed up" the footage as you drove past the 40 mph sign?

They are "recommended speed" signs in kph, I'm in Australia. Couple of bits were sped up and engine noise repeated, was quite good fun messing about with it.

I figured it was in Australia but didnt know they were just recommended :) Apologies! I enjoyed the video, nice mixture of different camera angles and good choice of soundtrack, Im guessing in Aus you don't have music royalty issues either? :))

That's an interesting one, there seems to be a "fair usage" policy, my videos are neither commercial nor monetarised. Is this an issue you've ran in to?

Yes , I've only uploaded the odd video, the ones with "borrowed" music provoked a message from youtube telling me I was out of order, i just took them down. Now I try to find non copyright stuff where I can.

Cheers! With hindsight there are many shots that I could have composed better and for some reason my gopro failed to record the whole section mounted on my bootlid.
