To all those who attended the Pistons and Props event at East Kirkby heritage centre, Thankyou for making it such a wonderful Day. We all enjoyed some lovely company and good conversation, hopefully we have also generated interest in new "active" members.
To David and the organising team, Thanks for making us feel very welcome and giving us a delightful parking area in front of Air Tragic, (sorry Air Traffic). The lovely sound of a dozen or so Porsches I'm affraid to say, was insignificant, when compared to 8 rolls Royce Merlins and a Griffin engine. How lucky were we to be able to see two Lancasters running at the same time, one on the ground and one airborne. That is 2 of the 3 in existance in the world!
Congratulations to Robert for "Best in Show" Shame there wasn't one for "Most Flies removed at the show" I would have walked away with that one!
Richard is already greasing the wheels for next Year, must be what I saw him doing in his drive this morning, or was that just polishing lol?

Gavin, Yet another superb day out with Porsche Club. See attached link to You Tube link, if it works? www.youtube.com/watch?v=dQaDbKvazqg Note the fantastic Carrera 2 in the final frame and the Regions stand - what a coincidence. Turn up the volume.
