PITT 3?

Hi,

Just wondered if there were any plans for a Porkers in the Trough 3 next year? I know it's a bit premature, but we enjoyed it so much last year we would love to do iit again and want to make sure we're not away on holiday.

Many thanks,

Mark & Alison

DEFINITELY.

The date will be July 1st. 2012. A notice will appear in Porsche Post soon and we have informed the local officer of the MSA. At this early stage however details are very sketchy as we are still searching for a suitable mid-way point. Rest assured that on that day there will be "Porkers" in the Trough of Bowland.

Heaton Park ?

Isn't that close by ? Rally and Concert in one Day ? It's been done before.

It's only Manchester. Last I heard, the tickets are going for up to ÂŁ1500 on e-bay - much as I want to go, I could easily be persuaded to let them go for that!!

Hi Mac & Sue,

Hope you're well. Many thanks for getting back to us so quickly. Like Rob we now have a major dilemma, 1st July is Goodwood Festival of Speed weekend. We don't have the ticket yet but we have never been and promised ourselves this would be the year. We could do FoS on Saturday and PITT on Sunday but that would be a massive weekend. We wil see., decisions decisions....

Best wishes,

Mark & Ali

Would never had you down as a dodgy haircut baggie T shirt wearing Manc swagger indie pop jangley guitar band fan?

Their debut album remains my all time favourite - I bought it the day it came out and still listen to it now.

You can't miss Porkers 3 either though?

Not as good as screamadelica by primal scream but yes...its on t'ipod [:D]

Loaded ! (thats the car not me btw)

see you at 7 (middle of the blinking night that is rob[:'(])

We want to be free. Free to do whatever we want to do. We wanna have a good time. We wanna get loaded. Away baby, let's go.

Inspiral Carpets next...

No, sober as a judge. Mind you, that's not necessarily saying much.

Apologies to Sue and Mac for the thread hijack but I suspect Mac, being the rocker that he is, probably likes Primal Scream - loaded is a blatant rip off of Sympathy for the Devil and R18 has had some legendary Stones' fans.

I would have thought that you'd have got the cultural references Colin what with your musical background?

The general rock & pop scene seems to have passed me by,Rob & I regularly recognise that my song/music knowledge is somewhat lacking compare to afficienados like yourself,Jeremy,Mac etc.
After I stopped playing in the rock group, during Uni & after, my interest has mainly been jazz orientated & that is generally the sort of music I play on the piano with big band/swing music on the organ-however I enjoy all sorts of music as long as it is good.
