My 993 has plastic protection patches (bit like Armourfend I guess) on the front flange of the rear wheel arches. It's there to stop any stone chips from the front wheels I would imagine.
I've felt for a long time that the outer lines of the patches spoil the natural curvature of the wheel arches, so thought I'd try to remove the patches over the weekend just gone.
The plastic patch peels away but leaves a hard sticky base left on the car.
Any ideas how or what I can use to remove this stuff? I've tried T cut and car polish but it doesn't move it. Reluctant to use white spirit for obvious reasons.
