Play in sunroof levers or not??

New member
Having recently replaced my stripped sunroof gears I would like to compare the following.When the sunroof is in the up position,if you push the rear of the roof(from inside the vehicle) is there much movement in the raising rear levers?
I have enough movement in mine to question this.

I would check mine for you but mine are stripped also ( happened yesterday

). I'm ordering a new set tomorrow.

Thanks for that - was going to call porsch-a-part but porsche shop will do nicely if they are the cheapest!

I've had a quick look at my sunroof and when it is fully open, I would say the free play is not less than a quarter of a tooth pitch and not more than half a tooth pitch.
