hi

I joined some time ago and have yet to recieve any documentation or 993 register stickers

Please let me know if they are still issued.

Suggest you drop Maurice the Register Secretary a PM - he is known to be generous around this time of year[;)]

I completed and posted (snail-mail) the 993 Register Form and registered online yonks ago. I too received nothing. On the plus side, after many years of membership, I am seem to be classified as 'PCGB Member'.

Maurice - I already owe you a bottle of Chablis. I am prepared to double this if you send me some sticker(s) :)

Cheers
Matthew

Maurice hasn't been on the forum since the beginning of December, so won't have read these. Have any of you just picked up the phone to him? Might be easier.

Maurice - I MIGHT have a bottle for you if you can send me my stickers please (jeez - this is expensive for a sticker!) ... you should have received the info of my car yonks ago....

Jeez .. we used to offer stickers on an SAE only basis, but I hate doing SAEs myself so took to handing out vast quantities of stickers at our principal events. Guess you guys didn't come to Blenheim or Kirtlington ..

As I said, I'll get to it soon, its hardly a life crisis type event ! Please don't forget RSs are unpaid volunteers who have high expectations placed on them, and little in the way of support .. I have missed writing for one Porsche Post in around 5 years, and that was because of a life crisis type event. I have to prioritise things very carefully, so complain at your peril !

cheers, Maurice [8|]

Form re completed and in the post with SAE for the 993 register. Stickers would be great by ASAP as i am on a rally in early february and would like the full effect. Thank you Maurice

There is no Register mailout package either - I used to get a list of new members with 993s + address stickers which I would use to send out welcome letters, but thats gone now.

Might be worth taking this into the "workers" forum?

There was a lot of discussion about this, mostly from me [&:], but the index is now sent by e-mail each month. I don't have a computer package that will do the labels, so am now printing it all out and hand-writing envelopes. If it's an issue for you join me in raising it with the Register Director, as I was alone last time.

My postman has only got through once in the last two weeks .. more heavy snow forecast .. but I'll tend to it.

There is no Register mailout package either - I used to get a list of new members with 993s + address stickers which I would use to send out welcome letters, but thats gone now.

Not coming to 993 QT ?

cheers, Maurice [:D]

Thanks
