Club Night Road Policing Complex Thursday 3rd September

[FONT=verdana,geneva"]Scott,

As discussed today I have arranged a night at our Complex for 24 club members the evening will start around 7.30pm with a talk from one of our Road Safety Officers. Then a look round the vehicle garage where we can check out the cars and the kit that they carry, and a check of the current unmarked car in use. I will see if I can get a hold of a speed gun and a "Tintman" which we use to measure the visible light on tinted windcreens fitted to cars. Will get back to you with the content of the Road safety talk in due course.

Hope the memebers enjy this visit as much as the workshop visit. Oh and enjoyed today thanks

Chris

Scott,
If one of Dougie's places is still free can you slot me in.
(I understand there might be a reserve list so no worries if already taken)
Reverse of Dougie - I was going to be down south but that's been cancelled now
Thanks

I think some people think it is the same place as the last visit ,so perhaps a blanket email would help as not all visit the forum

Chris, apologies for not making tonight.
My PC has been totally knackered and the guy who repaired it could only come back
with it tonight to install everything for me. Oh it's good to have it back!!!!!

Hope you all had a good time though.

Thank you and colleague for another great night, very interesting and informative .the look around the traffic fleet of cars was excellent I think everyone had a good night .
Brian

Yes, I'd echo Brian's comments - amazing how quickly 3 hours goes with these interesting visits/talks. It was good having the Q&A in the talk part of the evening. Thanks to Chris for organising.

Damn... so many pulled out, I was thinking of heading along aswell.

Well... anything interesting to report back or is everyone going to keep it to themselves.

We where all given a certificate of exemption to give to a traffic officer in case we get stopped ...pity you dad hadn't got one [:D][:D][:D][:D] also all the regs of the unmarked cars.
