Do you think the Council can be more prepared to cope with the high numbers of cars coming... I really dont fancy ending up in a fenced off area again ! Ok Ok... I will try to be earlier this time...

We did ask the organisers if they would consider chevron style or even double parking in more areas of the quay but they are constrained by health and safety rules! The closed off section of quay can only accomodate 130-140 cars. We were overwhelmed by the support for the last event, which saw 151 cars showing up. Obviously factors such as the weather have a bearing on the numbers attending. If the overspill area comes into play again I will encourage local region 26 members to give up their places and move to avoid visitors from afar any disappointment.

Thxs Geoff but I wont want to inconvenience or impose on any members... after all, its a first-come-first-served basis... and I will just have to take my chances... I will try and be early for the next one...

Cabs of course can always go the open top nights as well - tonight 4 June, 2 July, 6 August.

I tried to get Poole Tourism to officially accept Targas on these nights, but the best they can do is to allow them currently but may review this if this means convertibles have to be turned away (that come late!).
