I hope it still is!! - checked the website and says Yes. There's group of us from the 997 register going along for sure.. garyw

Hello, I'm looking to travel down from Teeside (R3 region) next week and was looking to join up at the Poole Quay on the 20th, can anyone confirm it's still on and any plans to meet up?
Cheers Greg and Tracey

Definitely still on - it will take more than a drop of rain to stop it happening (a bit of R26 irony there...awaits the tirade of abuse) There is an R26 convoy leaving Dorchester Football Club at 17.30, but if making your own way there don't try to get on the quay before 18.00 as you'll be sent "round the block" and might arrive back to find you are at the end of a long queue. Getting there between 18.00 and 18.15ish should ensure a place on the quay if the weather is good....if it's raining, there will still be a reasonable turn-out but space won't be at such a premium so timing isn't so critical.

Would it be ok if we tagged onto the R26 convoy? We are staying in Wareham, will find address for the football club and get there before half 5 Many thanks Greg

Actually on checking the address, its the opposite direction from where we will be so will just join up at the Quay!! Greg

Yes, that would have been a bit of backtracking for you. Keep a look out for us R26er's and we will hopefully see you there.

I believe it's docked in Sherborne Harbour at the moment anyway - he's hoping to make a fast buck at the weekend...

There are only 19 cars listed at the moment......? http://www.911uk.co.uk/dorset/Poole_Quay_2012_2_Supported_By_PCGB_Region26.htm

Means nothing. The last event we only had 40+ listed then 104 turned up. Because the event is well established now very few visit the web site for info or pre registering their interest.

ORIGINAL: 911 targa I am not sure if the red submarine will be there[IRONY].Itold you Geoff that PORSCHE made boats.
You mean the red Barchetta? If it's not there, at least the old sea dog will be sighted riding up and down on his bike collecting fish 'n' chips for the gang.
