Poor door mirrors....

Drivers door mirror only moving in one plane horizontal/side to side - anyone had this problem - wondered if there might be a fix, or otherwise what's the cheapest way to renew the motor - indeed can it be renewed on its own or am I having to consider a new assembly?

Also, I know the passenger parking mirror should dip when a manual car is put in reverse - does this apply on the Tip as well (98 C2)? If so mine isn't working - is there a way to program it?

Thanks.

J

Yes, you can buy the motor separately. There are two versions, depending on whether you have seat memory or not. However, I would check the wiring connections at the motor first. There is also round multi-pole plug just behind the mirror position adjuster, and you could check that too.-

Thanks Richard I do indeed have the magic memory seats - I will experiment further at the weekend.
