Poor starting when warm

Hi. I have recently bought my 944 S2 and with the weather improving I am beginning to get some miles on the car. However, I have noticed that when it is warm, and is re-started it sometimes misses, is rather "fluffy" and needs a couple of goes at cranking before it catches. Once it fires it is fine, pulls well and does not miss or pink. It always starts fine from cold. It has recently had a full belt service.

Any ideas?
 
I noticed recently that cleaning out my idle stability valve that mine was much keener to start when warm. Not sure why this would be, but I am only just getting to grips with how the ISV feedback loop works. If yours was gummed up though, I would expect you to be saying that it wouldn't idle properly when warm either.
 
The easy way is to pop the hose off it and squirt carb cleaner inside while the engine is running. This is harder than it sounds as by the time mine needed cleaning it wouldn't idle, but a tool box strategically placed on the accelerator sorted that.

That's worked, but I want to do a thorough job, so I will remove it to clean it properly. I have quite small fingers and apparently it can be done without removing the inlet manifold. [&o]
