As discussed at the January meeting, we hope to show our support this year to R18 and hopefully have a few of us going over to Garstang for the start, to enjoy a fantastic drive through some stunning scenery. We had four members who have taken the forms to fill in for this already and numbers will be limited so if you want to join in the fun please register your interest either below or with Mac & Sue at R18 ASAP. We could even look at making a weekend of it and have a drive over on the Saturday and stay locally and be fresh for the Sunday morning. We have driven over every year previous and it takes roughly 2 hours leaving early on the Sunday morning, again this is not a problem. Deb and I have had some great fun at previous events and made lots of friends from not just R18 but other regions too.
Your place is not guaranteed until a completed form has been submitted and a slot has been allocated by Mac & Sue.

Good R3 take up this year, seems like it has turned into a mini WOTY. We will driving over on the Saturday in convoy and staying the evening at the Preston Marriott.
Address: Garstang Rd, Broughton, Preston, Lancashire PR3 5JB. 01772 864087
I have also provisionally booked us a table in the restaurant for 7.30pm, if anyone from other regions would like to join us on the Saturday night.
I believe places are still available if anyone else would like to join us, but would advise checking with Mac & Sue at R18 first, as places for Porkers are limited and you must have a confirmed place to take part.
Alternatively see you in the bar.:ROFLMAO:
Greg.

We would have loved to join you for dinner at the Marriott but we will probably be tearing our hair out by then.
The logistics of getting everything out to Garstang on the Sunday morning takes some organising, so although we would have loved to have stayed over there is just too much to do.
We are absolutely thrilled that so many of R3 are driving down this year (thanks Greg and Deb).
Looks like the quiz will have to be extra difficult![:)]

Hi Greg/Deb - Karen and I booked into Marriott for Sat night , we'll join you all for dinner at 7.30 too if you can squeeze us in!
We'll likely head over A66 and pick up M6 at Tebay - we could meet you at Tebay services Southbound if you're joining M6 further up, or if you want to route down A1/M to Scotch Corner could meet at Scotch Corner Hotel and head over A66, Kirkby Stephen and on to M6 - happy with any of these. We can have a chat about logistics at Club night of course.
