Well spotted -Yes thats the JB'S one - I'm fairly sure this car was for sale for a long time not to far from me in Cambridge.
If it is the same car it was on the market for a long (I Mean LONG) time they could not shift it so it may well be that is why
it finished up at auction.

Hi All ( without prejudice !)

I saw this car at the Barons auction "good from far, far from good" !

The bonnet weighs a ton there is so much filler and a rather strange frame built into the underside of same. There are also signs of quite a lot of filler on the doors.

Hood and tonneau did not fit very well either.

The price paid at auction was approx £31500.

Approach with caution.

Have fun

Best not approach at all unless you want to spend a fortune sorting the old girl out properly [&o]

Thanks for that Paul - That pretty well confirms that this was the car I saw for sale in East Anglia a long time ago.
Your comments line up with what I saw to be a pretty bad case of the 'metal moth'
I will not be making the journey to see it!
