I have also put this message up on the SC forum, which I hope is acceptable behaviour.[8|]

Hello everyone, I'm new to the forum and in the market for an original SC or 3.2 cabriolet.

I bought Peter Morgan's SC and 3.2 Buyers Guides direct from the author a few days ago.

I've been in the motor trade for 20 years and worked as a buyer for much of that time, so I know my way around a car. However, I am trying to make a good investment, as well as have some fun, and am keen to avoid an expensive mistake.

I have to say that I found both books interesting and informative. Whilst they are often similar in content (like the cars), there was enough of a difference for me not to feel like I could have done with just the one (One is never enough for a self-respecting Irishman).

Of course these books are no substitute for a professional inspection, and if I buy a car in the UK (am also looking in Germany) I will certainly have it inspected before signing on the dotted line. However, speaking as someone well within Mr. Morgan's target market, I think he has done a good job with these guides and I commend them to the house.

John Glynn, not connected to Peter Morgan Media in any way and finally back in PCGB after a three year sabbatical! [;)]
