Porsche 911 World mag

First post on this site. Wondered if anyone read my letter in the December Porsche 911 world and Porsche GT? I wrote about how I had two 993's but just changed to two Boxsters and about how good a car the Boxster is? Happy motoring and roll on the summer! -Jonathan Yarwood

"I've been a Porsche enthusiast since I was 14" - me too! Took me 30 years to actually get around to buying one!

Notice that the number plate on the Box in the photo seems to be stuck on!

Funny, yes the plate was taped on at that time for the photo. But the paperwork has since caught up and it is officially on there! Just got back from a Porsche club America day which I took my Boxster to. Lovely sunny day for it here in Florida. Saw a superb and original 550 Spyder, just stunning. I love the Boxster you have by the way.

Thanks. I've never see an original 550 - wonder if there are any in the UK?

Jonathan , I read both your letters, funny how the same letter was "word for word" in two different 911 mags. (I buy all the Porsche mags...)

I did smile to myself as both these mags are mainly targeted at the 911 lads, I thought I never hear a 993 owner say the Boxster is a better car ! [:)]
Be very interesting to read the Porsche GT Jan 09 mag, which is going to have a full drive review on the 987 Gen 2 with LSD, lets see how that compares with the 911's...

Thats fine. The fact is that we all love the marque, that is the main thing. Why have devisions within a club? I loved my 911's and have had the best you can get. I also love my Boxsters. We are all lucky to be in a position to drive such marvelous machines.
