Porsche 924 for sale in Kent

Hi,

It was my first Porsche, had it since around April 2004 - Log book showed it had one owner from new up until 2001, then two more owners before me. I've posted some pictures of it here:

I'll try to get some pics of the interior up over the next day or so.

Basically, I've just bought a 944 and need to sell the 924. I'm just not rich enough to have both!
I think the stripes on it are original, although I've never seen another 924 with them - they look exactly like the Martini special edition stripes except they're the wrong colour?!

Right. Some details:

Located Gravesend, Kent.
10 months MOT, tax until end of May.
73,000 miles on the clock. I've done around 5000 since owning it.
I fitted a new rear exhaust section in November, new engine mounts and two new rear tyres.
Interior (the black pinstripe type) in very good condition. There's no rips in the front seats and only some small, very minor cracks in the dash - it's all really clean and the only real sign of wear is a small hole on the top of gear stick leather.
Outside, the only rust is on the bottom of the front valance. Looks like it hit something in the past and was never properly repaired. Aside from that, I haven't found any other rust on the body. I've been right underneath the car and it all looks fine.
Comes with the original black sunroof bag and the pull-out rear luggage blind works fine.

Bad points:
There's a dent in the front wing - it's been there since I bought it and has always been a 'I'll do that when I have some spare cash' job. I was quoted around £100 to get it fixed, but it doesn't look too bad and hasn't caused any rust to appear.
The interior blower doesn't work - I'm pretty sure it's a dead electric motor.
The rear boot lock doesn't open - I'm going to have a go at fixing this over the weekend though.
I don't have any service history with the car other than one previous MOT certificate. As far as I'm concerned, the interior is in such good condition and the engine runs so well that I'm inclined to believe the milage, but basically all I can suggest if you're interested is come and take a look.

The engine/gearbox/etc all work very well - it pulls along very nicely, the gearstick is very precise (no slack) and it has always been 100% reliable. I've been very careful to look after it.

IMO, this car really, really rocks. It's a cool car. I will be very sorry to see it go but I can't afford to keep it. Someone, please buy it off me and look after it!

It's difficult to price up cars like this.. not really knowing how much they're worth, I guess I'm after around £950 ONO.

I think that's it - reply here, email chris.barnard@btinternet.com or telephone 07712763744 if you're interested. I'm happy for people to come and take a look.

Cheers!

Chris B.
