Porsche 928 reg 464ART

hi
I recently bought a red 1985 S2, the service history has gone missing, the car is really tidy so someone has cared for it over its lifetime.
Can anybody shed any light on its history, servicing or otherwise?
Thanks in anticipation
reg is B262 PGX ( formerly 464 ART)

Have you tried the 928 register and asking if there is any known history associated? David Hemmings holds VIN nos for 928s that are/were at some time known to the Register. You might have to join the Register first ~ £30. Also, try asking on TIPEC or possibly 928.org - these sites tend to a more 928-oriented audience so might improve your chances.
Good luck with the car if you've found a nice one.

Colin, there's no charge to join the Registers?

The PCGB Registers hold the data securely, and should be Club member's car details only I thought, but there's never been a charge to join them. It's the same as Regions: automatically part of your membership.

It was few months back now and I may have mis-represented the reason for the £26 paid when I joined the 928 Register, which was payable to PCGB over and above membership. This covered the cost of the 928 register handbook sent out, by way of example.

Colin, that's worrying. I will look in to it as there should be no fee for joining a Register or Region.

Hi Colin

Can you please let me have details of the £26 charge. What it was for, who you paid it to etc.

As Paul says there is no charge to join any of our Registers and I am keen to get to the bottom of this. Please email me at chairman@porscheclubgb.com

Thank you
