Porsche 928 trackday at Castle Combe 25 May

Those 928s can be pushed along especially the 'racing' versions . Any way it was a very very hot day and was out on track with Steve 'Teaboy' Brookes acting as ballast when we spotted the famed gelato wagen joining the circuit , so we both felt an icecream would be a good idea and I did my best to get level with the serving hatch...but it was not to be. Got jumped in the queue by a minty 928 that wanted to be served , and gelato wagen took fright and sped off into the distance....

It was my turn (finally) for the cup car experience. And what a great experience it was too [:)]. Both the old girl and old boy were on top form and I can safely say there wasn't much quicker out there [8D]. Cuppie is truly one of those cars that gives sensation overload. What a buzz.

Cuppie, or was it perhaps the motorhome, also seems to have a seductive draw for attractive admirers.....surely, it couldn't be the owner of cuppie that had drawn their attention. [;)]

I've been trying not to think about that bit . It was like being in Monte Carlo for the Monaco Grand Prix [8D]
