Porsche 944 cargo/luggage cover for split seats

Quarterflash

Hi All
Since my 89 Turbo did not come with the rear luggage cover, I purchased a tatty one with the objective of getting one made up to my spec (black with red stitching).
Trouble is I'm not sure what the two flaps do when the seats are up or down either together or individually? I can see where they clip but what are they for and where do the two flaps go when the seats are down?
Does anyone have any instructions/description or detailed photos of the operation of the cover.
I believe the same cover fits the 928 as well?
TIA,
Q

Hi,
The flaps fold up and clip to themselves when not in use, see attached picture if it works.. When you fold either or both parts of the seats down, you unclip the flaps and they just lay over the load - they don't clip to anything in use. In other words, the poppers are just for tidy storage of the flaps when the seats are up.

Thanks, Steve.
The two flaps don't do a lot then, maybe some additional clips or support would have helped when Porsche made the design.
I was going to use thwem as pockets when clipped up.
Thanks
