Hi ive posted similar in the 944 area but im after a a good body shop that undertakes these kind of jobs as locally im getting zero interest from the accident repair mob. far too much hard work it appears.

My 944 has had an engine rebuild and now returned ive noticed the front bumper, bonnet and nose are slighty out of line due to their removal. Id like the whole front end taken off and put back on straight with some fresh paint, theres also some minior rust to be treated which may require some metal work. So does anyone know and recommend an old school facility where they still know and practice the arts of panel beating etc..

Many thanks

I've just had my bumper sprayed by a guy who was recommended to me in biggin hill the work shop wasn't very tidy but the work was top class. The owner actually has a 996 turbo. And what he charged me was 100.00 cheaper than a so called friend

Try Hillarys - hillaryscoachworks.co.uk - located in Mount Ephraim, Tun Wells, Kent TN4 8BB. The owner's wife drives an old 944 B reg? They repainted my friend's Alvis a few years ago and resprayed the front bumper on our family runabout in March/April. They had lots of old classic cars up there in the Spring - Citroen Light 15, Aston Martin V8, Lagonda etc etc. They have a Spray Booth which is only a couple of years old. Definitely what I would call an old school operation. You need to speak to Richard Brinklow who is the owner. Telephone 01892 520500 / 533539. They are quite difficult to find - located down the side of a property near a newish pedestrian crossing near The Royal Wells Hotel.

I have no connection with them whatsoever.

Good luck!
