Cheers

Suggest you add the original price to the add and say reduced to.

Also youneed to explain why you are selling after one year as your advert is so positive, people will be suspiscious.

Hi, cheers for the advise.

Price was reduced from £3500 to £3250.

I'm selling the car as I bought it with the intention of carrying out most the maintenance myself. But since owning the car I have found it more beneficial to take it to a Porsche specialist to keep the books stamp up etc.

Also I have recently move near to the river Thames and need to free up the money to buy a boat.

If anyone has any more questions or advise, please fire away.

Has your car been re-painted as the badge on the rear looks wrongly placed with the 944 on the left and S2 on the right I thought they should both be on the right with the S2 below the 944 and offset to the right.

If it has been re-sprayed it would be worth mentioning as this may help to sell it.

Car looks nice I hope it sells, I know the prices in your region are stronger than up North so best of luck.

'Tis a pretty car and looks like a nice example.

All the best with selling it. If it's as good as the advert claims then someone will get a bargain.

Cheers guys.

As far as I know it's not had a respray. I moved the badges myself when I First bought the car as they were already coming loose and I felt the looked better there.

Defonately not been re-ended as all is straight on the inside and still has the sticker in place.

The trouble is that people who know these cars will spot the badge is wrong and instantly form an opinion it's been rear ended

That's true.

But then, those who really know these cars will ask to see the sticker in the boot and not form (wrong) pre-judgements ... [;)]

('Tis a good point tho'. May be worth making the rear look as it did when it left the factory - boring as it may be. Or just take the badges off altogether, as I think some were made with nothing on their behinds - so to speak.)

Ahhh, but those who REALLY know won't be put off by the lack of a sticker in the boot, as with the numerous water leaks the boot is prone to often mean they've soaked off. [&:]

Gotta give it to him chaps, he is the 944 Register Secretary and he does know his 944's. (He's probably even worked out they are RWD now, too! [;)])

Anyone want to better this comment? Be warned, if you do then you'll get the RS job next year ... []

Cheers guys that is all very helpful...

Think I may just move the badge back, try not to give the wrong impressions, no matter how little someone knows.

Supprised no one had noticed the long porsche sticker is also missing...?

Don't suppose any of you fancy buying the car do you?[:)]
