Porsche (964) convert seeks help!

We owned a 964 C2 for a few years and have some fantastic memories of that time. Although we have moved on through 993 C4S , Mk1 Gt3 and now a 997 GT3 RS we have finally got one of our friends interested in joining the Porsche faternity. We've advised him to look here and on pistonheads and maybe titanic.co.uk/964 for advice, ideas and possible cars for sale. He's decided to go for a right hand drive 964 C2 Coupe, manual with a `sensible` colour, so not rubystone red!

Does anyone know of any nice 964's for sale that might fit the requirements?

Have you seen the Pistonheads ad for the 'total 911 car'? It's owned by Rob Mugglestone who is well known in the 964 fraternity.

Looks in very good condition and my friend has that one on his short list. Looks a bit leggie though.

I agree. But when I was buying at the start of this year I found that the majority of the lower priced cars out there, were not the bargain that they promised to be. The advice I received on here about buy on condition proved to be very valuable. The 150,000 (top end rebuilt) miler I bought was in a lot better shape than many of the 'younger cars' I looked at.

BTW I have no affiliation to the above car/owner and was merely suggesting it might be worth a look.
