I was doing some random online surf and came across this rare beauty !! I have wrote a letter to Santa asking him that all I want for Christmas is this lovely Lovely 968 Turbo S

Would this be on your wish list ?

Have you been good?

Id prefer an original car for that sort of money, but Id like to own it none the less.

Really interesting to compare that with the 944 turbo cup car also on sale in the States. Personally I'd go for the a 944 cup if it was original, but the US car seems far from that and as such rather overpriced.

I've never got over the rear end of the 968, and it's strange to be so put off them as it's not a part of the car any driver should ever think about looking at! So, no. It's not on my wish list. [&:]

Whatever way I look at it, I can't ever see the point of a car costing that much, that'll only be mothballed. If I could afford £80K, I'd spend £20K on a special toy, and the rest on something like a cheap race series. Even the odd £100 on a karting event is so much more enjoyable to me than having $120K worth of car you would never use!

Especially if the roads were salty[:D]
OMG I would love a go in that AND the cup car....

I made him an offer and he has accepted it.It's going to be delivered in the new year.................

Oh Bugger dreaming again.............

must stop taking the cough medicine.....

I think they only built 4 or 5 real 968 Turbo S ? So you will struggle to buy the real deal and it will cost 3 to 4 times more than this is been offered for .

Found a rare 968 Turbo RS !!! RHD for sale bargain price !!! proper track weapon.

This seems a better buy ??

Only four Turbo RSs, which were intended for GT racing. The Turbo S was a limited production model, but they only built sixteen (because no one wanted to buy them).

The American 'Turbo S' was obviously a reproduction as they have used the wrong trim.

Oh man! That is really something [8D]. I would love to own that [8D].

The Australian car is not only far, far more authentic, but it is a fraction of the price too. Correct trim, although it has the wrong rev counter, I think...

Simon, how the fcuk do you know all this? Where the fcuk do you get all your info' from? Are you some sort of
Porsche "Anorak" or something? I really do think that you should try to get out more (although I am rather impressed)!![;)] [:D]

I was thinking that too , after all the money it cost to build it and the asking price is not to bad ? 74.000 Aussy Dollars is around 45K ? I would have thought that is would have gone up in value not down ?

If I had the spare cash I would most definitely buy it and never drive it :)

Same outfit that is selling this car aswell as the "Cup" car which i suspect is not all it reads..............having a punt methinks.
The Cup car that was for sale in South Africa a couple of months ago at £21k ish plus shipping was the one to buy
