I have just fitted Ohlins to my 996 C2. A couple of questions for a fast road setup in the UK:
- What settings are people generally running? (0-20 clicks)
- how did you zero preload the rear anti roll bars? By moving the adjustable mount up/down?
- Did you run the rear droplink mount perpendicular to the shock mounting bolt, or rotate it to improve drop link vertical alignment?
- does anyone recommend adjustable drop links?
many thanks
A couple of side observations from my install:
- ride height with shocks dialled perfectly to Ohlins specs resulted in a low rear and low right hand side. Front left was 12mm higher than rear right (Ohlins ride height method of wheel centre to arch)
- the specified 32mm gap from collar to rear drop Link bracket causes my H&R antiroll bar to contact a suspension arm. Increasing this to a 60mm gap fixes the issue by moving the mount closer to the end of the shock like the oem shocks.
