EML light issues, around 3 weeks ago the EML light illuminated, as it was not flashing and running okay I drove it a short distance, after around 4 miles it gave the Drive to Workshop warning and started flashing. I left it an hour or so to cool down, on restarting the light was on but not flashing. I called the RAC who reported a misfire on cylinder 5. I was around 65 miles from home so had to drive it home, the RAC deleted the code, I drove it home without any problems. I took it to my Porsche Specialist, there was no visible code as the EML light was not showing. They fitted a spark plug to cyl 5 and a new coil pack, despite the coil being new in Nov 2021 and had done a few hundred miles. All seemed well then last week the same thing happened, this time I revved the engine a few times and both lights went out. Back to the specialist, same message misfire cyl 5. They extinguished the message, and plan to order an injector. This all seems a scatter gun approach! I put some STP injector cleaner in it on Saturday and drove around 20 miles, just as I was parking the EML light came on again, not flashing. I revved it a few times and the light went off again. Any advice please.
