I have a 997.1 PCM if anyone is interested, it was removed when I upgraded to a pioneer sound system was working with no issues

Saw your post re 997.1 PCM - I am writing on behalf of my husband (only because I type faster!!) - Sorry we are not looking to purchase your PCM but wonder if we could pick your knowledge on the subject of change. We made enquiries recently about upgrading to the Pioneer system but stock was not available and there were stock issues and would not be available for some weeks. We were advised that the price would start at approximately £1000. This price would be for an SPH DA250 all touch screen.

We would be grateful if you could let us know who fitted yours and if at all possible could you send a photo.

David has also asked does your car have a Bose sound system and if so was this affected by the change.

Can you let me know the part number please & how much you are looking for it?
My understanding is that there were different units depending on whether Bose was fitted or not.

Open to offers as I have no idea of what to ask for it, definitely would need to add postage which securely would be about £15

Can you provide the number which starts with 997, should be something like 997.642.141.10…?

Has your 997 got the Bose speakers?

i believer it did have Bose but I might be mixing it up with my current 997.2 Porsche. I can’t check as I no longer own the car

After a bit of research it appears that this is only compatible with non Bose systems.

Unfortunately, I’m looking for a Bose model.
