Porsche and Polo

The Castle Combe concours is now closed, so here is another opportunity for all concours enthusiasts to enter a similar competition:

PORSCHE AND POLO "" MIDDLE YEARS (1974 "" 1996)
PRIDE OF OWNERSHIP CONCOURS

Members from all regions and registers are invited to take part in the Concours. A Pride of Ownership Class will be organized at this event and will be open to all Porsche Club members. There will be NO concours entry fee.

To compete in the concours, please email Tony and Harriet Shannon at r16@porscheclubgb.com or telephone 01249 822405 for an entry form and a copy of the rules and regulations. Entry forms to be returned by no later than Friday 28th August 2009.

Prize giving for the Concours will take place at approx 3.30pm. In addition, there will also be a special award for the best Middle Years Porsche.

Geoff can you let me know the time that this event starts, I cant make it myself as I will be away but my brother in law would like to go . He is an Audi driver but hopefully when he sees all the Porsches there he may start looking for a decent car!

Gates open for public at 9am. Traders and exhibitors, including Concours entrants 8am


Arena Timetable

10am Introduction including sponsors .

10.15 Presenting Polo.

11am First Polo Match

12.30 Display by a local hunt.

13.00 First race. Boxster versus a smaller pony.

13.30 Second Polo Match

14.40 Gun dog display

15.30 Second Race. GT3 Versus Pony

16.00 Concours winners.

All time are approximate and no doubt will vary.
