thanks for the reply and the congratulations []
I am based in west london and my wife and the impending arrival in June are in Edinburgh, the more recent arrival is also in Edinburgh.
With regards the baby seat porsche charge an extortionate £550 for seat although have seen the same seat advertised in porscheshop.com for £115, the deativator is £85.
Could you please let me know how much you would like for the seat and then I could arrange to meet with you if necessary.
Once again thanks for rely
Regards
Asif

I ( in error , thinking it would fit my 993 ) bought a britax romer prince ( identical to the porsche prince but not labelled as a porsche seat ).
I is designed for 8months upwards and fits the back of a 996 perfectly.
I appreciate that you will not ned it for some months yet but those first months will fly by !- we have a 7month old and hence my need to find a seat for my 993.
Let me know if you want it - its brand new and never been in the car.Still got its new label attached .
Andrew.
The seat is not the model currently on sale, I believe the current one arrived with the Cayenne and Isofix mountings.
Our seat is from the 996/986 era with no isofix mountings and hence cheaper although I believe the airbag disabler used is the same part.
Out of the country for a few days but if you send me an email I will give you the relevant part numbers.

I'm wondering if I can just put a normal baby seat in the rear.
