This is pretty cool really. Intermecannica - a firm that builds replica 356 speedsters and cabs now offers versions with 944 suspension. The company is based in Vancouver, B.C. and has been building cars since the 1980's. IIRC they once had permission from Porsche to use badging, etc. as their replicas were that good - may not be the case any longer - especially as Porsche is back in the "classic" business.

I have seen one or two of their products up close and they certainly seem to be as close to the original as one could expect but I'm not completely familiar with the 356 - stood next to a few but never drove one or had a wrench on one.

Maybe you are creating a new niche here - good luck with your project.

got loads of picgtures - been posting on "we love 80's cars" on facebook

find posting pictures on here too flipping laborious.

gladly will when I can find a quick way to do it.

Love the project!

There was a Dutch built Boxster with a beetle body at Brands for the Festival a few weeks ago.
