Dear all,
My car has gone into Porsche for a service and they have loaned me a new Boxster S.
I have to say the boxster has really impressed me, I wasn't much of a fan before.
I thought that it would be sluggish compared to the 911 but I was wrong.
Despite only being a 2.5 litre it is quick off the mark and holds the road really well. The Sports Chrono package is well worth the additional cost, almost giving you two different cars to drive in one. The interior is excellent quality and really comfortable.
It's a different driving experience, being a mid engine car, but a real joy and sounds great too.
If you get he chance to drive one, take it.
I'm actually hoping that they forget that I have it and keep my 996 instead!!
I'll put my hands over my ears now so I can't hear the screaming from fellow 996 owners!!
Gerry
