Has anyone applied a new set of these decals to your red brake calipers before? I am going to touch up the calipers with red paint and then apply these to them.

The porsche lettering seems to fade over time?

I bought two sets from here. As yet to strip and paint the calipers.
You actually get six decals, two each of three different sizes.

Cheers,

Hi
The previous owner of my c4s had the wheels touched up on the car and then tried to clean the overspray of the calipers and also succeeded in damaging the decals. I did all four calipers and gave them four coats of hi temp lacquer for a bit of protection. Since had the wheels powder coated. Will try to send some pictures later.

Andy

I would have thought the high-temperature ones would have been better, myself.

After all, callipers can get mighty hot.....

..............................Please forgive the new boy error and typo, in future I will make sure I include more detail. Should have said used hi temp lacquer over hi temp decals, I trust this claifies matters.
As the previous post says they can get mighty hot!

Regards
Andy

Thanks all for the information. I have found a supplier who does them in Vinyl and these do not need the high temp lacquer on top apparently. We shall see how I get on!
