Big thread on PH about this. PH link

Worst bit was someone flogging pieces from the wreckage on ebay within hours!! Hope no one bids.

RIP Paul Walker.

Found this other link and the tale gets worse !

Apparently the race driver Roger Rodas that was driving , his 8 year old son was near by and was trying to battle the flames and get his dad out the car !

It is shocking and just goes to show how dangerous these cars are when driven at high speeds on normal roads !

Apparently the body's are beyond recognition and need to be identified by the dental records !

So sad and a complete waste of life .

While he had as much on-screen presence as an ostrich making bubbles, that's really sad for his family and friends.

Makes you think about going for a passenger ride with friends, even when they can handle a steering wheel.

It sort of goes in line with how many skilled drivers mentioning how tricky the CGT can get in some situations.

Terrible,i don't understand what happened, they were on a public road in the dry,car is very strong,i am interested to see what caused such a catastrophic crash.[&o]
Very sad.

very very high speed !!.....one should always drive within one's limits ...more so when there are others in the car !

rip to both of them.

I must admit that I have driven my Porsches on the roads at silly speeds and I have had near misses !
I can not imagine how fast the acceleration would feel like in a Carrera GT ! But would love to find out one day !
I found this link to a Porsche Carrera GT same colour and in the US , wonder if it is the same fatal car ? Nice 944 Turbo parked next to it .
The fatal car had only been driven 3200miles from new

There is another Porsche Carrera GT on that same page with straight pipes ! Wow , sounds amazing ! Watch him drive it like a complete D..K

Bottoms out on some road works . about 2.40mins into the video.

Beware if you intend to buy on of these cars second had , some may have been abused !!!

I don't think I will have to worry about that in my life time :)
