Hi, can anyone advise how I can use the TV. Unfortunately the user manuals were lost by PFS and will take a while to be replaced! Would like to watch TV but can't work it out.

My S is 06 aswell, and i havnt seen a picture for a while on my TV tuner,i presumed its cos the analogue signal stopped??
I would love if someone could confirm or deny this!

You are correct. There are however some after market kits that replace the analogue TV receiver with a digital one. I think they run at around 600-700 pounds.

Wow, pretty expensive! Thank you for your prompt reply and its appreciated. If anyone knows of a cheaper alternative option please let us know.

Darn!![][&:] thought so......
That was an expensive option as well when i specced the car up,its not worth spending that kind of money on the TV now the car is so old,i just bought a new set of tyres at 1000 quid!

Porsche just quoted me £1200 but a local car audio/AV company think there is a way to get it done for £200! I'm popping to see them next week and I'll update you.

No adult channels...

My Cayenne has a factory fitted PCM which incorporated both Analog and Digital TV Tuners.

The Analog worked fine up to the time of the TV signal changeover. The Digital reception was really poor as the signal strength was kept low by the broadcasting authority.

After the Analog switch off, the Digital signal was cranked up, but the Digital reception is still pretty awful especially on the move.

I have asked the OPC about an upgraded Aerial but apparently it does not exist.

In hindsight , the factory fitted TV Tuner and Digital option was a waste of money, although without the £800 digital tuner, I wouldn't even be able to get poor reception now.

On the plus side, when one does pick up a strong Digital signal the picture and sound is great !

The Digital picture works well in central Europe though but the PCM settings need changing to suit the area.
