Alan Armstrong, Register Director, has received an open day invite from Porsche Service Center Byfleet Surrey on Saturday 15th June. It was received too late to be included in the May edition of PP. Richard Duveen reminds us that last year the 928 and 993 Registers came from all over the country and had a very successful day. The invite is an open one but unfortunately I'm on holiday so can't arrange it as a Carrera 3.2 event. I've taken the following details from the invite email:
They will be running the Service Clinic again where owners can have their cars inspected and have the opportunity to see them on a ramp with one of their Technicians. Numbers will be limited so it will have to be on a first come first served basis, and can be booked by calling the Service Department on 01932 341911.
There will also be food and refreshments available and a display of interesting Porsche cars.
The day is being run to coincide with the Brooklands Double Twelve Motorsport Festival, which is two miles from this event, http://www.brooklandsmuseum.com/index.php?/double12/ so it should be a good day out.
If you are interested please give the number above a call. I'm sure Richard Duveen will provide a warm welcome to those accepting the invitation.
