Hi all, Our annual Spring 111-point check is now confirmed for Saturday, the 7th of March, 2009.

Please make the booking directly by ringing the centre on 020 8519 9999 and ask to speak to the Service booking department for the Porsche Club GB open day on the 7th of March; you will have a choice an hour slot between 9am to12noon.

This has always been very popular and is the same 111-point check done when you take out a new Porsche extended warranty or re-new you existing policy, so please book as early as possible as spaces are limited. Please have your membership number ready as you will be asked for it.

At 1pm we will all take a short drive in a Porsche convoy to the Fatboy's Diner (http://www.fatboysdiner.co.uk/) in Isle of Dogs (E14 OJW) for lunch (Best burgers and milkshakes in a 40s style American roadside cabin diner). You can join us directly at around 1:30pm if you do not want to take part in the Porsche Centre open day visit or drop out after visiting the centre i.e. the lunch and point check are all optional.

The Lighthouse at Trinity Buoy Wharf. Next to Fatboys Diner in the same compound:

Longplayer Sound Installation - The Experimental Lighthouse Set in the lens room of this historic building, Longplayer utilises a the sounds of Tibetan 'Singing Bowls' that creates an ever evolving musical composition designed to play without repetition for a thousand years.

Cheers

Simon

Thanks Kish. Will be there with girlfriend and a mate who has just had his Turbo 'breathed on' by JZ Machtech. He has booked the 111 check.

See you at about 11am.

Simon
