We are all quick to use forums to complain about lousy service (and rightly so) but few of us bother to do the reverse, so here's some unsolicited praise from me.

Just collected my Cayman from Porsche Edinburgh, who have had it all week. My recent MOT threw up a few issues (an oil leak, a coolant leak and a tiny bit of play in the steering arms). My car is now 6 years old with 50k miles on it, but I had bought an extended Porsche warranty, so I asked Porsche Edinburgh to have a look. Without any quibble they undertook to fix all of these items at no cost to me. This turned out to be a fair bit of work, I guess the warranty has paid for itself. I also had the front brakes replaced (at my cost) but the club discount I got on this more than paid this years PCGB membership.

The car was ready to collect when promised, spotlessly clean, and as ever Porsche Edinburgh were a textbook example of how to treat a customer. I hasten to add I have no connection to this firm, merely a satisfied customer saying well done guys! [;)]

I totally agree with John H. OPC Edinburgh is by far the best main dealer (not just Porsche) that I have ever dealt with. They recently did some warranty work on my GT3 RS plus an oil change and could not have been more helpfull. Scott in the service dept also gave me a very reasonable price for a new tyre that had to be fitted after my puncture on way back from Spa. All done with minimum fuss and to my comoplete satisfaction. ps They were quite happy to use the Mobil Oil I supplied for the oil change bought on Amazon for less than £80.00 for 10 litre

Having used them for the last 5yrs during the ownership of my Turbo, agree with all the above +.
