I have spoken with Tim Copeland, Service Manager at Porsche Centre Newcastle, today regarding the possibilty of a free winter health check for Porsche Club members. Tim is very keen to continue strengthening relationships between the Centre and our Club and have offered to open their workshops exclusively to us on Saturday 17th of December from 9.00am. Your Porsche will be inspected on one of their seven ramps available to us on the day and free advice offered. Obviously should you require any work there will be a charge but we are under no obligation to have it done there and then and fees can be negotiated on the day.
Tim even expressed that we are free to bring our overalls and get as involved as much or as little as you wish and his technicians will be happy to assist on the day where required.
Unfortunately numbers will be limited due to time restraints so please get in touch as soon as possible if you would like to be added to the list.

Hi Greg,
Please can you put me down for this too if there are still spaces left?
I can pick up my new carpets at the same time [;)]

I might pop along to catch up mine was there for its first MOT very recentley and is now winterised lols.

Don't be shy, numbers are limited so get your name down fast if you wish to take up this offer.

I really enjoyed this morning thanks to all who's ears i bent i do go on a bit Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you all.

Regards

Michael

What a really good way to spend a Saturday morning, with one week to go until Christmas I just couldn't decide which model to buy Deb for next weekend. Will it be the yellow Boxster Speedster or the purple Cayenne haha decisions, decisions.
Unable to opt for any one vehicle at the dealership I decided it was safest to just have her Cayenne serviced instead Happy Christmas Darling. Never let it be said I don't know how to treat my lady.

Seriously though, thanks again to all at Porsche Centre Newcastle who worked towards ensuring today's event was another great success. Tim and Michael have gone out of their way to accomodate us. Some of our Club members took the opportunity of free help and advice from the staff as it was too good an offer to miss. They quickly identified the cause of problems like the niggling overheating problems on Dave's 944 Turbo Cab with a very cheap fix recommended within minutes, to preventive maintenance pointers for other members while also fitting in Deb's car for it's service.

If you missed this chance don't worry we are already looking to run a similar event in the spring of 2017 to assist in getting the best from your car for the new season, so watch this space.

What a fab Saturday morning with friends & Porsches (mine still the best)
Big thank you to JCT Newcastle Porsche. Bridges keep on building

A super Saturday morning. The yellow GT4 would be my choice, but before that "Dear Santa, all I want for Christmas is my own garage lift". It would be especially useful if I am to tackle the melted cheese exhaust bolts.

The OPC pulled out the stops for us, so many thanks to them and to those organising the event.

Happy Christmas one and all.
