Hi all,

Cheers

Steve

You got your magazine today? The back of the address sheet has the details.

Looks like you’ve just started the thread of who’s going!

I've bought a ticket Steve and so have Randall F and Mike F from R3.

I'm sure there'll be a few more. I went to the last one and there were about 700 cars there and it was a good day.

It appears to be a replacement for the Lotherton Hall event that Leeds Council used to run and PCGB attended, but that was open to other Porsche drivers.

This one at the Motorist I believe is only PCGB people.

cheers

John

I did, but it is still in the letterbox, it usually takes me a few days to get to opening it [8|]

Yep, I bought a ticket just before I posted on here. Good to hear that it might be worth the run.

Nice to see you today

Hello John, The Yorkshire Porsche Festival which was previously held at Lotherton was an R7 event. Sadly the restrictions put in place by Leeds Council following the Covid outbreak ruled out that venue.

We struggled to find a suitable replacement but are very pleased to announce The R7 Yorkshire Porsche Festival this year is at Sewerby Hall and Gardens, near to Bridlington, it will take place on the 9th July and all are welcome to attend.

The event will be live on the forum very soon, tickets will be available to purchase via the club shop, as soon as they are we will let you know.

Best regards

Valerie & Peter

Hello Valerie and Peter,

Thanks for the update and I stand corrected on the Leeds Council / R7 item.

Yes I would be good to attend a new venue in the R7 area and look forward to seeing the details when they are posted.

regards

John

Hi,

I'm a new member to the club, however i live in york and been to the Motorist a couple of times and what a great venue, you won't be disappointed.

Just a note to everyone making comparisons to the event held at The Motorist last year - this event is basically an arrive and bacon bap event organised by PCGB and not to be confused at all with the R7 Yorkshire Porsche Festival that I’d hope is going to be the biggest Festival R7 have organised to date so we’d love to have you all there in July.

Cheers,

Mike

Yes, I've bought a ticket and plan bring my son along. Is there any plans to meet in the region and travel down by convoy? - It would be great meet some of you before we get there...

Hi, apologies but I don't know your name to add to the list in the first post? Can you let me know please?

Cheers,

Steve

Apologies Steve, i'm Ben and my son's called George

Thank you.

Sorry, I can't personally answer your question on a convoy, I can't even guarantee my own attendance until closer the time .

I'm sure it will fall into place over time, and I would happily join the slower movers [:)]
