Just received the following from club office - if your interested in Track days read on:-

------------------------
Invitation to attend Brands Hatch Track Day
Porsche Club members have been invited to attend a Track Day organised by the Jaguar Enthusiasts Club at Brands Hatch on Friday 22nd February.
Having discussed the day with the organiser, it appears that their organising principles are very similar to those adopted by the Porsche Club and we feel comfortable in offering this day out to our members. However, you should remember this is not a Porsche Club day and this may impact on any insurance cover you may have.
Attached is a copy of the booking form for the day. If this is of interest, please contact the organisers direct and make the booking with them. Porsche Club members will be able to book on the day at the "˜member price' shown on the booking form.
Anglesey Track Day to link with "˜Porsches on the Prom.'
Also attached is a list of the Porsche Club Track Days organised so far for 2013. This includes the dates, venues and prices, plus a booking form which can either be printed off to be posted or faxed to Porsche Club Motorsport, or you can complete it on-screen and mail it back to the Motorsport office.
We still have places available for the latest addition to the list, an event, at Anglesey circuit in North Wales on Saturday 27th April. This is planned to link with the "˜Porsches on the Prom' event being help on the Promenade at Llandudno in North Wales on Sunday 28th April.
This will allow Club members attending the Porsches on the Prom and those who live in the North Wales and North West arrears of the UK to put their cars on track and enjoy what is a fantastic circuit, With its combination of slow and fast corners and newly developed garage complex, it should be a great day. All combined with a view of the sea from certain parts of the track !!

Below is a full list of the dates for 2013. The number of days we are running at Goodwood have been increased slightly for 2013, reflecting an increase in interest at this popular circuit during 2012. Castle Combe is always popular and we have maintained the number of days we are running there. We will also be running the popular Brands Hatch evening, which is always popular with those who are new to Track Days
We are also planning a Croft Track Day in August. The Club is also looking at ways in which we might offer members the opportunity to have access to days on some other circuits and when we have more details, they will be mailed to you.

In addition to the above list, Region 4 are running a couple of their Novice induction days at Blyton Park in Lincolnshire. Instruction is mandatory and is included in the price and only 5-6 cars are allowed on track at any one time, all under supervision of an instructor. This is an excellent teaching session for the ladies to get some experience of the cars without worrying about other traffic, we even have 2 lady instructors. Our first on is Friday 31 May with another one in September. As yet, these are not fully approved PCGB track days, something we are still working towards.
Have a look on the R4 forum for more details or contact me.

Gavin
R4 ARO & instructor.
