Porsche Dealers

Over the past couple of years I have noticed a propensity to adopt the style of a 'grumpy old man' whenever I have issues with a business in terms of its support and customer service.

I thought it only fair to redress the balance and let you guys/girls know of the excellent service I have received so far from Porsche Nottingham who have restored my faith in customer services as a whole

An absolute pleasure to deal with and they have provided nothing but excellent help and support since I purchased the Cayman

Credit where credit is due and just wanted to let you know of my experiences

Agreed...the service I've received from both Sutton Coldfield and Solihull OPC's has been spot on with excellent customer service and attention to detail..so far so good!!

Historically whenever the going has got seriously tough Porsche dealers once again join the real world and offer a top notch service to anyone walking through there doors with money to spend be it for a spare part, service or a vehicle! Sometimes it may even be just for a coffee and chat which may lead who knows where some day [:D] History has a habit of repeating itself and eventually when the decade of promised austerity has passed I am sure Porsche dealers will once again return to being very aloof and quite difficult to deal with [] Make hay whilst the sun shines from recent personal experience it has been a breath of fresh air getting ones calls returned, having test drives followed up enthusiastically by the sales people concerned and this is from several previously notoriously indifferent dealerships in all departments [8D]

Since they opened near my workplace 3 or so years ago,i have been a customer of Porsche Centre Leicester, cannot sing their praises highly enough,a real bunch of enthusiasts, they service my 944s,stripped and rebuilt my 964 engine, the parts and service team are brilliant and the sales department are not pushy and helped me sell my 997 with minimum of fuss.Would buy another modern Porsche from them without hesitation. Great bunch of people[:)]

Let me add Edinburgh Porsche to the list ... they have been fantastic to me throughout. Highly recommended. [;)] (Oh, and Perth Audi are spot on too!)

I've had mixed experiences years ago the first OPC I visited was Nottingham I was driving a 924S and wanted to look over the new Boxster which had just come out, the salesman looked down his nose so when I was later able to afford a Porsche Approved Car years later I went to Sheffield and as they have always been very good, have dealt with them ever since. Handy for Meadowhall so the wife feels guilty enough not to object to me spending on the car. As I've worked in Leicester for some time I've also been involved with the dealership there and as one of my sons was at Hatfield Campus of Hertford University I dealt with them for occasional parts both excellent dealerships. Hatfield as usually had a nice display of early Porsches to drool over. I did visit another dealership more recently and commented on their cars all having dark interiors their salesman said that is what everyone wants, something I'd never heard before after all why would Porsche have colour options if everyone wanted black?

What a impact one salesperson can have buddy , with your reference to them looking down their nose I recall visiting a BMW dealership when my wife picked up her last car We took my previous car an S3 and when the salesman asked me what I drove and I showed him he asked me when I was going to buy something decent !! No irony at all , he was deadly serious and I took an instant dislike to him , had I been buying the car I may well have changed my mind

Where was it Spiker? I'm not currently working and I have a beat up MX5 I could park there while I take a test drive
