What! over the Air-cooled Vintage 911? Don't you think water-cooled Porsche sounds are no longer something to write home about... (IMHO, of course [;)])
 
IMO the water cooled motor is still something special - very characteristic with differnent and surprising variations throughout the rev range. After a sucession of BMW's and Mercedes, culminating in a E46 M3 my S2 with PSE is in another league.

Know what you mean about the vintage though - something quite romantic about it.....
